We are seeking a Lumber Sales Associate to join our team! You will be responsible for providing customer service to local homeowners and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
• Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
• Superior product knowledge.
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store. Increasing in store sales.
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Monitoring stock and Inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in lumber warehouse or related industry experience
• Retail sales experience.
• The ability to read, write, and perform basic math. Operate a computer. (QuickBooks)
• Ability to handle physical workload. (Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lift 80lbs+)
• Strong work ethic. Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

MUST HAVE PRIOR KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE IN BUILDING MATERIALS INDUSTRY
